When we first become parents we are all rookies. In every new stage of parenting that we enter, the reality of being a rookie does not change. I can remember when my wife was pregnant with our first child, I read 'What to Expect When You are Expecting' so many times that I truly believe that I could have birthed our child! I also remember leaning on my parents and other parents for their advice about parenting. See the reality is that in life we learn through 'experience.' The more we experience something the better you are at the decision making process in that area. However, we are not all alike. We make decisions differently based off of many factors. Our experiences level, our culture, our moral values are just a few examples. That does not mean that because we do things different that my way is better than your way. What that means is that we can learn from each other!!
In this experience let's share some of that parenting knowledge for the good of others.
What is the best parenting advice you have ever received?
